Media Disinformation
The media has plans for you. They want you to think a certain way, and they have ways and means of getting their message across. They don't merely want to entertain and inform. They want you to adopt the standards and values of the world around you. They don't really want you to look behind the scenes at what is going on. Sure, they have their own form of "behind the scenes" like many Third Eye Open lie-o-philes have, but it is just another set, with another set of props, with philosophies and fantasies that are waiting to deceive. Almost every movie, almost every TV sitcom wants you to feel the way that they do. They want you to feel embarrased if you disagree with them. They want you to experience their unreal fantasies in such a way that you end up agreeing with them, when the reality is that what they are portraying has no place in the real world. Watch closely when they get on their soapboxes, when the sentimental music begins to play, when the main character must "fess up" the new idea that is being put across. They want your soul baby, and if you're not careful, you will hand it to them. Close your eye, lest you be blinded.
